Acorn Lodge is a charming ground-floor lodge that can be found resting within the village of Chacombe near Middleton Cheney, Northamptonshire. Home to one double bedroom in a studio-style layout, this dwelling can sleep a total of two guests. The bedroom is served by a shower room and the interior is complete with an open-[plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside there is a garden with an outdoor seating area and a hot tub. Off-road parking is available. Acorn Lodge is a wonderful setting for a relaxing retreat to the East Midlands. Note: This property does not accept any children under 18 years old - this includes infants.
Amenities: Enjoy underfloor heating throughout the property for added warmth and coziness. Kitchen equipped with an electric oven/microwave, two-ring hob, fridge, Smart TV, and WiFi access. Fuel, power, and a starter pack for the wood-fired hot tub are included in the rent, additional wood is available to purchase on site, or guests can bring their own, bed linen and towels are also provided. Off-road parking available for guests' convenience. Private lawn area with outdoor seating, firepit, and hot tub for relaxation. Guests have access to on-site fishing with a private fishing peg and a private pontoon for a serene experience to keep things peaceful for all our guests, these can only be fished from dawn until dusk. Our lake is reserved exclusively for guests staying on site – we don’t offer day tickets. You’ll find a healthy mix of species here, including Mirror and Common Carp, Tench, Roach and Rudd, alongside larger Carp running up to 10lb, we also have a few specimen fish running up to 20lb. January 2026 - the lake has been netted and restocked with an additional 100 Mirror and Common carp (all between 1.5lb-5lb, with an average size of 3lb) 8 Tench between 2lb - 4lb, and an additional 10lb Mirror Carp. The lake's spring-fed nature ensures excellent water quality, optimal oxygen levels, and healthy fish conditions. Regular weed removal is conducted, and weed rakes are provided at all lodges for guest convenience. The nearest shop is 1.9 miles away, and the pub is 0.4 miles away (0.2 miles accessible on foot by footpath). EV charger available on-site, chargeable via the ICS app. Please note: This property does not accept children, pets, or smoking. Please note: The car park is approximately 250 meters from the property, and the path leading to the property may be unsuitable for the elderly, disabled, or less mobile guests. For the safety of our guests we have CCTV in place at the entrance to the site, on the roadways and on the pathways and also on the access road around the lake.
