Close to the village pub and the coast, the cottage is ideally situated for exploring all of the surrounding coastal resorts and the North York Moors. This is a great base for those that love walking and cycling, and the cottage is pet friendly too.
Furnished to a high standard, the open-plan living area with its wood burner is a lovely room to relax in after a busy day out and about. Once the flames are roaring, settle back on the two-seater sofa and switch on the Smart TV for an evening of relaxation. In the mornings, turn on the coffee machine and make breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen, before eating at the spacious dining table. The large patio area provides the ideal spot for enjoying an al fresco evening meal and the cosy double bedroom is a comfortable and welcoming retreat at the end of the day. Hinderwell is just a small hamlet but it’s a beautiful spot for a relaxing break away. Just 1.5 miles from both Staithes and Runswick Bay (in opposite directions), you’ll be well placed for visiting popular coastal hotspots. There’s a post office and a general store in the village and a bus service runs regularly to Whitby, meaning you won’t have to worry about finding a space in one of the busy car parks. Head to Whitby (9 miles) and learn all about Captain Cook, Dracula and fossil hunting.
