Summary: Our stay was somewhat disappointing. The bed was too small for two people and not long enough, making it uncomfortable to sleep. We were assigned a disabled-access room, and unfortunately, the bathroom and toilet had a noticeable smell of urine. Breakfast was adequate but limited in variety. The poached eggs were undercooked, and the bacon was not crispy. I also observed that some wait staff handled food without gloves — for example, placing croissants in baskets or touching bread directly after clearing tables, which was concerning from a hygiene perspective. When attempting to book a table for dinner, we were treated quite rudely on both occasions. We were unable to get a table on Saturday night (our first night) as we had not pre-booked. As paying hotel guests, this was disappointing, especially given that there were no other dining options nearby. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and several areas could be improved to make future stays more comfortable and welcoming.
