Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location on the village green, good view from the front. Breakfast was good. Colourful but garish decor throughout (see negatives). Nice lounge. Good seating area outside.

Negative: We booked this hotel for the food, unfortunately dinner was unavailable as they'd had to dismiss the head chef for something serious (not told what). Booked a twin room but given a double. Had to wait whilst they remade the beds. No drying facilities (coast to coasters beware). Microscopic basin, barely big enough to fit your hands in. The fancy kettle wouldn't even fit in it properly - water poured out of the 'designer' spout all over the floor as you manoeuvred it out. Garish but colourful decor throughout (see positives).
