Positive: The hotel staff were friendly and the attached pub was cosy. The food was also very good with good sized portions.

Negative: The hotel is undergoing and very much needed refurbishment. It is quite dated and there are a lot of areas that have significant age related issues. The rooms that my friend and I had, were out the back and really seemed like it was an old staff area that had some beds put in them. The windows were frosted like a bathroom. My room door was the same with a frosted window. That said as the hotel was under refurbishment the rooms were only £36.00 per night, including breakfast, and suites out means for the time we were there.
