Positive: We had a fantastic stay and truly enjoyed our time here. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room itself was very spacious. There’s a pub located right downstairs, and while you can definitely hear some noise in the evening, it quiets down fairly early, so it didn’t disturb our sleep at all. During our stay, we were actually the only guests, which made the experience feel even more relaxed and personal. The breakfast was a freshly cooked full English and absolutely delicious. We also had some lovely conversations with the wonderful couple who own both the pub and the B&B—they made us feel very welcome. The shower was great, and the internet connection was stable throughout our stay. The B&B is in a convenient location on a main road, but there’s surprisingly little traffic noise at night. Overall, it was a really enjoyable stay, and we would definitely come back if we’re in the area again and need a place to stay.
